The North Beach section of San Francisco has its own Chabad Rabbi and Rebbitzen. Rabbi Peretz Mochkin and his wife Miryum plan on opening a center for their many activity's.

The future center will serve as a center for the discovery of Jewish life and education. "Chabad is dedicated to making the beauty of our heritage accessible to everyone" says Rabbi Mochkin, "Our goal is to highlight the richness of our tradition through a personalized experience". Chabad is internationally known for its welcoming environment and accepts Jews from all backgrounds and affiliations.
